A few hours later Demko had discoverd an amazing fact about airships, they had little to no recreational activities. He decided to go find Arrolus again, as most of his company was either asleep, or in the case of captain gordan, to busy to have a conversation.

"Excuse me, have you seen the 'bow girl' ?", Demko asked a man that was walking past him carrying a tray of drinks. "Ya, oi saw er down in the cago bay", he said in an australian accent.

There it was again! A muffled rustling, slow, but frantic and patternless. Arrolus turned her head slightly to pin-point it, and followed the sound as it drew near. Perched atop a tall stack of crates she shifted to a better angle as her quarry drew ever closer. Foot steps sounded down the hall, this time heavy and steadily paced. She waited. Closer..... closer still. She drew the string back to the corner of her mouth. A dark shape melded out of the shadows and she loosed her arrow with a THWISH! Demko came around the corner and froze, visibly blanching as the missile flashed in front of him, ending buried in a large ship-rat barely 6 feet from where he stood. The creature jerked once and was still. Arrolus jumped lightly down from the crates and pulled her arrow free from the rat, which was nearly the size of a house-cat. She straitened and turned to Demko.
"I don't think the Captain will mind," she said, nodding at a barrel whose contents was spilling onto the floor out of a large gnaw-hole.

Haruki awokened from the commotion. He found himself in the cargo room of the ship. "Dang. Not again..." he looked around seeing boxes of supplies and step over them to the nearest exit to find the source of the noise

Demko had to stop for a mintue, forceing himself to take slow deep breath's. The action of almost geting shot with an arrow sparked Demko's memory. he chuckled to himself as he recalled when his father had been employed in buffalo bills wild west show. Although those indians hadn't been shoting at him. Neither had Arrolus, but it still was frightening to him.

Captain Gordon seemed to have jumped from behind Demko in a rather odd way, he wore a strange expression on his face, and choked when he tried to talk to them. "Uh sorry to bother you, no reason to panic, but just in case you both are obliviously unaware, we're under attack by God knows who, and it looks like they're trying to jump ship, if you get my drift." He spat out quickly and flew back up a flight of stairs to get to the dock of the ship. Sword drawn, pistol held firmly in his fist Gordon assembled his crew. "Listen up! If they would have shot us with cannonballs, they would have done it already. They're planning to get aboard, prevent that at all costs!"

"Great", Demko said to himself as he ran up to his room. KABOOM. Demko looked in horror, "my stuff", he whined. A mortar strike had punched into the wall of his room and blown most of his lugage to splinter's and rags.
"ooohhhh, now it's personal". Demko rushed to the deck of the ship to join the other's. "How can I be of assistance sir", he said comeing to a smart salute. "Preferably I would like to be in some place to kill the sneaky buggers"

stumbling from the surprise attack and in shock, Haruki tried to make his way out of the dark cargo room. He grabbed the closest firearm in the cargo, loaded it and ran out. The rifle appeared to be a Winchester Model 1877 in fairly good condition.

Haruki ran out to see silhouettes jumping from their ship to The Inception. Aiming down his sights quickly, he took aim as they were too far for him to draw his Katana

"Ah well you're in luck! here, take one of these, you might find it useful." He said tossing him his handgun. "Just so happens we need everyone with an extension of their hand. Those inglorious rats are blasting us now. Kill on sight!" He muttered falling back to different men. "Go! Let em' rip!" The sound of Gordon's voice yelled, soon nothing could be heard except the cracking of cannons.

How the sound masked every sound, how the flares and smoke lifted into the air and pushed back into their nostrils. Sparks flying, twisted metal, and crimson blood flying.

Haruki looked at the short-ranged weapon. it had no use for him since soon enough he will have to fight too close of a range to use a pistol. "a blade is much more suited for such action, I have no use for this!" haruki then aimed with his borrowed rifle trying to shoot the silhouettes.

Two of the enemy crewmen landed on deck near the entrance to the cargo hold. They glanced around, grinning wickedly. "This way." said one, as they ran toward the dark cargo hold. The first man cried out as a small silver throwing knife burried itself in his shoulder.

With the swirl of a cloak Arrolus melded out of the shadows in the doorway drawing the long fighting knives that were strapped to her legs.
The second man stopped. "Its only a girl!" he sneered.

Arrolus's blades flashed, one to his throat and one in his chest.
"Not hardly." she muttered derisively, as fell at her feet.

Demo was less than happy. Not only had Captian Gordan not noticed him, but now Demko was overlooked by every one as they all fired at the men who swarmed across the railing.
"Hey, use this boy" some large man said as he shoved a sharps rifle and a box of ammo into demko's hands.

pulling the trigger guard down, Demko chambered a round and cocked the hammer. now these brutes would pay for destroying his luggage.

Disregarding the almost 2 months that past since the last post, the pirates started pulling back as they realized they were being out gunned.
"Oi! Let's go after those rats and teach 'em not to mess with The Inception!" shouted a fresh faced crew member.
"Yeah! Let's go steal their stuff and take people as slaves... And stuff..." said another crew member.
"And kick 'em in the nuts!!" shouted yet another crew member.
"YEAH!!"
Soon enough the battle was turned as pirates now have to face a seriously ticked off crew of a second rate ship and try to not get kicked in between their legs.

And because of poor plot development, inhumanly skilled and invincible characters, general lack of forethought, and therefore loss of interest by all posters involved.........

They all lived happily ever after!!! Very Happy
