Name: Gordon Levitt
Alias: Captain Gordon
Alignment: Anti-Hero
Age: 32
Height: 5'10"
Hair: Short Brown
Ethnicity: Italian/French
Weight: 150 lbs
Eyes: Brown and Asian-like
Outfit: Steam Punk Hat, usual brown and drab colors. He has random belts and memorized what's in each pocket in the belt so he can quickly reach for whatever is in the pocket whether it be smoke pellets or poison darts, he knows where they are. He wears a long duster that reaches to his shins.
Appearance:
The City of Drift Wood Character Sheet Sign up IMG_0158

General:
Gordon is the young, successful, and fearless airship captain who popularized the use of Steam Technology. He owns a motley crew of fearless air pirates that make a profit with every time they land. He is known for his innovative use of Steam.

Tools

Scimitar
Long stainless steel sword with a golden hilt. Because he doesn't like to flash his gold around, he wraps his valuable sword hilt with brown soft leather.

The Broken Butterfly
Smith and Wesson's Model 3 was reintroduced to the market after years from being out of production. The recoil from the .44 rounds is what makes the gun rather inaccurate.

Tear Gas
Like the smoke grenade this sends a gas that causes severe inflammation in the nostrils and throat. This grenade--unlike the smoke grenade--also makes its victim tear uncontrollably, causing an immense irritation in the eyes. The gas flows steadily out of the grenade and has no charge. Once the key is pulled the chamber is released and the gas is freely flowing.

Knife
The cast iron knife has a deadly sharp blade and a firm grip. Used to cut ropes, foliage, and people.

The Inception
The most important tool in his arsenal, Captain Gordon's Airship implements high tech steam technology. Its capacity can hold up to two hundred men. Gordon plans to expand his ship and his business. It has cannons on both sides, zip lines that shoot to opposing ships so the crew can board and attack. The both sides have blades that run across the side to cut ropes or lines that prevent from anyone else from boarding Gordon's airship.

Crew
A crew of fifty, all in different age groups, Captain Gordon doesn't expect any less from the sixteen year olds to the sixty year olds. He expects the best from each and every crew member. With Gordon's credentials, they want to impress him.

Skills

Organization and Leadership
Gordon has the greatest sense of leadership over his crew. He knows where everyone on his ship is supposed to be and knows where everyone is anyway. He achieves this through his extreme organization skills.

Slight of Hand
Useful for winning bets, impressing friends, pick pocketing, and in battle. For example; he can pick the key off a grenade attached to a foe's belt and he won't notice it until its too late.

Battle Strategist
With an understanding of the psychological human mind, he can predict an enemies moves on the battlefield and come up with counter measures so he will always get the upper hand.

Weaknesses

Mechanical Leg
His right leg is mechanical from the top of the knee down. Though it might seem to have obvious pros, it has more cons. It makes him less quick on his feet and its extreme high maintenance. Though if an assailant doesn't know of his leg he can trick them.

Over confidence
The one word says it all. He has a big head about himself, he usually underestimates his foes.

Origin
Gordon grew up with his father as a single child. His mother died at his birth and he lived with his rather intelligent dad, learning the ways of his military operations in Italy at a very young age. One day his father left to France for trading and never came back. When he turned 19, he found out who was responsible and went out at to the seas for revenge. He gathered a small crew and took The S.S. Inception, his father's ship, without permission. He soon got on Italy's wanted list for stealing military property and was soon deemed a pirate. By 25 he was pillaging villages for money to keep the ship afloat and his expanding crew, full with food. He apprehended his father's murderer--another pirate-- after losing his leg to him. Gordon ordered his crew to tie him to a tree on a distant unmarked cay and there they left him for dead. During his search he grew quite the reputation on sea so he figured a way to avoid the sea and still make The Inception useful. He turned it into an airship, yet still his reputation as a pirate only increased. He has been successful in all his endeavors, and has become a hero to the eyes of many, even though his methods in heroism are rather unorthodox.
